An Evangelistic Autobiography
My family has been serving in cross-cultural ministry for 17 years with a focus on an unreached people group. We delved deeply into the language and culture of this people so that we could best present the gospel, disciple, and gather communities of faith. For the majority of that time we lived in a frontier context in which there were previously no churches, few Christian believers, and no other church planting teams.
Over the years of life and ministry, I have experienced several forms of depression ranging from severe discouragement to Seasonal Affective Disorder to burnout. Through these times, the Lord has taken me on a journey of understanding who I am in Christ along with developing habits in resilience. This has led me to collaborate with a dear co-worker to create a book called The Light of Dawn Will Come.
Our book will help reach women and girls in Europe by inviting them into a relationship with Christ and as a tool for discipling women in a Christ-centered identity as we continue to minister to refugees with Muslim backgrounds.
