Moms Ministry & Teen Ministry
Many women in the Czech Republic suffer from loneliness while they are on 3-year long maternity leave, spending their days alone. To help meet this need, our church established a family center called Brouček (Little Bug). Over the years we have seen hundreds of moms, dads, and children come through the doors of our church and receive the gift of community and the hope of the Gospel.
Now, with a thriving family center, we are busting at the seams and ready to expand through the purchase and renovation of a new church building. We are also building safe, healthy, and wholesome community among girls and teens to steer them away from drugs and alcohol and toward God. We would love for you to join us.
lives changed
One mom in particular, Jana, who started attending the family center with her daughter, Evička, took a particular interest in the stories from the Bible that were shared during the program and took up an invitation to come to church on a Sunday. She came and her life was transformed; however, her husband still stayed distant. Through a series of events and the passing of the husband’s father, he started attending our church and accepted Christ into his heart almost two years after his wife did. Praise God!

We saw an overall problem that youth find community when alcohol, drugs, or romantic relationships are the focus. Many girls do not know how to have deep meaningful relationships when they are not under the influence of another substance. From under the umbrella of our church’s youth group, we decided to start intentionally reaching out to young girls by creating a space for meaningful community—no drugs, no alcohol, no boys, just a safe environment with God at the center. We started a baking club, girl’s small group, and workout group for girls, all of which have been thriving over the past 3 years and have given many girls access to a healthy community and friendships, but more importantly, they have had access to the Gospel!
One girl in particular who has struggled with severe bullying in school, pot, and homosexually, started attending our youth and the girls’ small group through the invitation of a friend. During her first experience in worship, she sobbed the whole time and wondered what was different about “this place” (church). She said, “I just feel so good here, and I don’t know why." After almost a year of intentional discipleship, she accepted Jesus into her heart and was baptized in the fall of 2024!
