ministering in
croatia

Winnie Horvat has been ministering to women, teens, and girls in Croatia since 2009. Her compassion and creativity have touched unchurched girls through her “Glitter, Glam, and Jesus parties” and Cake Camp outreaches. She also mentors teen girls, encouraging personal and spiritual growth through Bible studies.

Additionally, Winnie has helped to organize the Oasis Women's Conference for women in ministry in the Balkans to strengthen and spiritually rehydrate those serving in ministry in Balkan countries where there is a great need for light in the spiritual darkness. Join Winnie in creatively ministering to women and girls of all ages in Croatia and the Balkans.

lives changed

I noticed that many women who served in ministry in the Balkans, were exhausted and burned out. Over the course of more than a decade, I watched numerous missionary families come to the Balkans and then leave quickly, between 6 months to 3 years. I joined a committee to run a women in ministry conference that focused on getting these women spiritually rehydrated and connected so they could feel able to stay out their terms and come back again.

One woman came and had only been in country a few months and was really struggling and even having physical symptoms- during our small groups, she shared about this and one lady prayed for her and she was instantly delivered from the physical oppression.  Many women have made lasting friendships that depend on to get through the hard times.
